Formula 1: Max Versteppen takes pole at Imola Grand Prix

Max Verstappen has claimed pole position for the Imola Grand Prix, ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez.
It was a thrilling qualifying session, with the top three drivers separated by just 0.059 seconds. Verstappen eventually took pole with a time of 1:11.827, with Leclerc just 0.029 seconds behind. Perez was a further 0.030 seconds adrift.
Verstappen's dominance continues
Verstappen's pole position is his third in a row, and extends his lead in the Drivers' Championship to 27 points. He has now qualified on pole at every Grand Prix so far this season.
The Imola Grand Prix will take place tomorrow, April 24, at 3pm local time.
